I added the running boards to the side. I believe they’re around $292, and I really like them. When we first test drove the not a golf cart golf cart and tried the backseat, it seemed a little difficult to get in and out as far as your feet. They do stick out a little wider than the car itself about 3 to 4 inches beyond the wheel edge. They are made super solid and could not be easier to install. I happened to have a torque wrench so I could tighten the bolts as the instructions directed.
I don’t know if everybody’s aware of it but when you look on the Kawasaki page, for all the accessories, below each accessory, is an installation guide. This installation guide is outstanding on every accessory, it shows you how easy they are to install and configure. This one literally took eight bolts on each side and every piece can be used on either side so they are not side specific which made installation so easy. There’s also quite enough room under the cart with the stock wheels that I could climb under there and simply bolt up with a ratchet and a box wrench. I believe the bolt torque was around 150 inch pounds which most torque wrenches can handle easy.
In conclusion, I would recommend these to anybody that might think that getting in or out is a little bit awkward. I’ll give additional feedback as we get used to them since they are only two days old at this point.
