I’ve had the LE model for two weeks now and have discovered I don’t love it as I thought I would. 19 mph doesn’t bother me at all. But here’s the list of issues that does. Please let me know your thoughts.
1. Surging effect is maddening. Any speed other than pedal on the floor gives a surging effect that makes me absolutely hate this thing.
2. Fit and finish is bad. There should be more bolts and nuts and less push lock rivets. Yes the plastic rivets save weight but gives a poor quality feeling as you watch the body panels jiggle around.
3. Suspension. The ride quality was great in the dealership parking lot. It’s absolutely terrible on real world rural neighborhood roads. Yes I’ve tried low tire pressure.
4. The roof is flimsy. The structure is fine, but again in an apparent effort to save weight, the roof is thin and cheap feeling.
5. The hood attachment clips and lack of hinges is a failed design.

The steering and overall seats and leg room Is great. The versatile back seat is a win. The acceleration and solid feel of the drive system is great. But this doesn’t solve the surging issue that I can’t move past. My other complaints will fade with time.

Some valid points. However, I've got about 200 hours on my NAV and don't have the surging issue, except going down hill on a sloping road at max speed -which is being governed at 19 mph by GPS. I purposely drove to work today on a smooth, level road at various lower speeds and cannot detect surging.

@Kenpcfl thank you for the response. I'll have to check with the dealer for a pedal fix. I tested again yesterday on a long hill slope. The regenerative braking works really well when completely releasing the accelerator pedal bringing the NAV to a near stop without touching the brake pedal. However, when trying to maintain a medium speed up or downhill I still got the surging effect unless the pedal was held to the floor.

I purchased my 2025 NAV4 LE when they first arrived. I now have 425 hours on it, and drive ir almost daily, mainly on trails, and gravel county roads. Yes, the surging is somewhat of an issue, but I find it less irrating as the the hours add up. I also own a 2025 Kawasaki Ridge & ut's now used for work, only. I have grown to love the NVV4, but I fully understand your dissatisgaction with those quirks. I guess that my main concern is the suspention system, which is inadequate. All in all, I still love the NAV4., but not as much as my rescue dog, GG.
